Welcome to my little corner of the web! My name is Masoud Abkenar, or as it’s written in the Persian script, مسعود آبکنار. I was born and grew up in Iran, and since 2010 I am living in Germany.

I am interested in science, computers, and the intersection between technology, human rights, and social structures. I hold a PhD degree in computational biophysics, do a wide variety of software development work, and am an avid enthusiast and contributer to the Free software movement.

I am always passionate to find new opportunities in the fields of physics, all aspects of software development, and initiatives for improving public literacy about scientific and technological matters.
